Aer Lingus has said that staff representatives have been advised that those working in ground operations at Dublin and Cork airports are to have their hours and pay increased from 30% to 50%.
Ground operations staff at Shannon Airport, who are currently laid off, are to return to rostered duties with hours and pay increased to 40%.
In an update, the company said an incentivised winter leave programme would also be made available for ground staff at Shannon.
The changes are due to come into effect from the 27 September.
Aer Lingus said the changes were a direct result of the cooperation received across a range of business measures and on the basis of continued cooperation.
A voluntary severance scheme is to be extended to maintenance and engineering staff.
It follows the passing of a ballot by the Craft Group of Unions on what are described as change initiatives.
Aer Lingus said it was now proceeding to the implementation phase.
In relation to cabin crew, the airline said that overall agreement had not been reached with the Fórsa trade union on future resource planning in talks at the Workplace Relations Commission.
It said that given the seriousness of the situation, it would be increasing cabin crew hours and pay to 50% at Dublin and Cork airports and to 40% for Shannon based staff from 27 September.
An incentivised winter leave programme will also be introduced for cabin crew at Shannon.
A Voluntary Severance Scheme and an Incentivised Career Break Scheme are also to be introduced and open to all cabin crew.
Aer Lingus said it aspired to increasing hours and pay further.
It said that to sustain or increase hours, continued cooperation with current practices would be needed in line with collective agreements and Labour Court recommendations.
