A Bank of Ireland spokesman has said the payments delay experienced by some customers earlier this morning has been resolved and the funds have been credited to customer accounts.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused," he added.
Some Bank of Ireland customers did not get wages or social welfare payments into their accounts as expected today.
The bank had said it was working to rectify the issue as soon as possible.
