Revenue has published details of 25 cases of tax default and 12 cases where the Courts have imposed fines for tax and duty offences in its latest Tax Defaulters list.
The list is published in Iris Oifigiúil and covers the period April to June 2020.
The total for all settlement cases listed was €8,491,348, with three default cases for amounts exceeding €1m.
They include Dr Kevin Hickey Unlimited, listed as a medical service provider with an address at Ascot Terrace, O'Connell Avenue, Limerick.
It was fined for under-declaration of corporation tax, PAYE, PRSI and USC. Tax, interest and penalties came to a total of €1,216,196.44. Kevin Hickey, a medical consultant at the same address is listed for under-declaration of income tax totalling €598,761.59 with interest and penalties.
Mary Colma Moore, a haulier with an address at Sharon Avenue, Browneshill Road, Carlow, is also listed for under-declaration of Income Tax, PAYE, PRSI, USC and VAT totalling €1,196,129 including interest and penalties.
Elaine Keogh with an address in Annamoe, Roundwood, Co Wicklow - a manufacturer and retailer of knitwear trading as Lainey Keogh - is listed for under-declaration of income tax and VAT totalling €122,533 with interest and penalties.
The Solas-Galway Picture Palace Company, now in liquidation, is listed for non-declaration of VAT totalling €821,353 with interest and penalties. The amount had been unpaid at 30 June.
Andrea Smith, a journalist with an address in Fortunestown, Tallaght is listed for non-declaration of income tax totalling €75,586.56 including interest and penalties.
Two companies based in Wexford, now in liquidation, are also listed.
Hynes Jewellers of North Main Street, Co Wexford, was found to owe €437,673.12 including interest and penalties following a Revenue audit case. Meanwhile JW Fashions, trading as Hynes Family Jewellers at 113 North Main Street, Wexford, is also listed in an audit case for €640,093.17 including interest and penalties.
Tuskar Property Holdings, also in liquidation, with an address on Dorset Street Upper, Dublin 1 is another Revenue audit case listed for €1,026,972.90 including interest and penalties.
Meanwhile three men are listed as having each received 12 month sentences, suspended for 12 months, for tobacco smuggling.
They include Samy Ahmed, a fruit and vegetable importer with an address at Forest Court, Edgeware Road in London and Vadim Poianschi and Oleg Stavila both with addresses in Moldova.
