The Government has been urged to be imaginative in the steps it takes to help SMEs and family-run businesses emerge from Covid-19.
A report by PwC, DCU's national centre for family business and the Family Business Network has put forward a number of measures they would like to see in the July stimulus package and the 2021 Budget.
It includes a significant reduction in VAT for tourism and hospitality, supports for those working from home, and a scheme to allow firms to borrow back some of the taxes they have paid in the past.
