Emirates has resumed flights for customers in Ireland with the first flight departing Dublin Airport to Dubai International Airport today.
The airline said it will operate twice-weekly services between Dubai and Dublin as part of a measured and phased approach to flight resumptions after Covid-19 restrictions.
Irish customers can now fly to destinations in the Asia Pacific, including Australia, via a connection in Dubai.
However, with travel restrictions remaining in place in many countries, the airline reminded customers to check entry and exit requirements before travelling.
Emirates has also implemented a comprehensive set of measures to ensure the safety of its customers and employees both on the ground and in the air.
These include the distribution of hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes to all customers.
