Emirates has announced that it will resume flights from Dublin to Dubai on the 15th of June.
In a statement, the airline said it will resume flights from Dublin and 15 other cities following the decision by the United Arab Emirates federal government to lift restrictions on transit passenger services.
The Covid-19 pandemic, which has seen countries around the world shut their borders as they went into lockdown, has decimated the global airline industry as demand was crushed.
Many countries continue to enforce tight entry restrictions, including some countries banning foreign visitors.
