Cornmarket Group Financial Services has appointed Patrick Ryan as its new Group Managing Director.
Mr Ryan has spent five years as the director of Cornmarket's largest business division, its Life and Pensions division.
He takes up the role of Managing Director following the retirement of Roddy Murphy, who will continue as company chairman.
Cornmarket Group Financial Services Ltd provides financial advice and tailored products for public sector employees.
Established in 1972, it works closely with public sector unions, associations and employers, together building group schemes with benefits designed around their members. d
On the impacts of Covid-19, Patrick Ryan said the pandemic presents a unique and difficult challenge for all businesses and Cornmarket is no different.
"We have changed our work practices so our employees are working remotely and instead of meeting our customers face to face, we are giving advice over the phone and through video chat," he said.
"Having looked after the financial needs of public sector employees for nearly 50 years, we are acutely aware of how tirelessly they are working to support the country during this crisis," he added.
