Tesco Ireland is extending bonuses for staff in recognition of the extra effort they have put in during the Covid-19 pandemic.
It is also increasing their shopping discount to 15% from 10%.
"It's been eight weeks of change for everyone, including in our operations where we’ve prioritised public health to support a safe working and shopping experience," said Kari Daniels, CEO, Tesco Ireland
"Our colleagues have risen to these challenges, and I thank them for their support and contribution as together we respond to Covid-19".
Originally the retailer had introduced the bonus at the start of March and it was to run until May 1.
But that’s now been extended for a further month until May 30.
