Green energy company Pinergy is to reduce its standard household energy prices from June 1.
The reduction will see Pinergy's unit rate price decrease by 2.6%.
Based on a domestic customer using typical consumption of 4,200 kWh a year on a 24-hour standard tariff, Pinergy said its customers will see bills fall by €23.36 - including VAT - a year.
Enda Gunnell, CEO of Pinergy, said this is a difficult time for many people during the current Covid-19 crisis.
Mr Gunnell said the company is working with customers who have been impacted by Covid-19.
"Our teams are available, and I'd encourage any customers who have concerns about their energy plans to contact us. We will do our best to help," he added.
