Permanent TSB has decided to defer its AGM to a later date in response to both government and societal action to minimise the spread of Covid-19.

The bank had been due to hold its AGM on May 6 in Dublin.

In a statement, Permanent TSB said in reaching its decision, its board had considered the health of shareholders, attendees and staff a top priority.

"The board will keep the matter under review and will announce the new date for the AGM over the coming weeks," the bank added in its statement.
