Hibernia REIT has become one of the first commercial property companies in Ireland to appoint a sustainability manager.
Neil Menzies has been named as the company's new Sustainability Manager.
Mr Menzies will have responsibility for advancing Hibernia's existing sustainability strategy, which includes working to reduce energy consumption and water usage across its property portfolio and improving waste management and recycling systems.
He will also ensure that Hibernia's buildings under development continue to achieve high Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) ratings and its Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) scores improve further.
Neil joins from Transdev, operator of the LUAS, where he was Environment and Sustainability Manager.
