An IT service provider is to create 100 jobs at its headquarters in Sallins, Co Kildare.

Odyssey VC says the new roles will be highly skilled positions in a range of areas such as technical, product development, service delivery, compliance and sales and marketing.

The firm says its expansion is being driven by the steady double digit growth of the business both in Ireland and around the world.

"Odyssey VC is delighted to announce the creation of these new jobs," said CEO and co-founder of Odyssey VC, Oisín Curran.

"It is a very positive indication of the significant growth we have achieved."

The company was founded five years ago and provides cloud based IT system management services to companies working in markets that are heavily regulated.

It counts many global Fortune 500 life science companies, including Pfizer, Amgen, Takeda and Alexion, among its customers.

The firm, which is supported by Enterprise Ireland, also announced a new brand based around its digital offering today,
