Drinks group C&C has said its chief executive Stephen Glancey is to retire and will leave the company at the end of February.
In a statement, C&C said that Mr Glancey will, however, continue to be available to assist with effecting a smooth handover.
Mr Glancey has been CEO at the firm since 2012.
The company said that Stewart Gilliland has been appointed interim executive chairman with immediate effect to ensure continuity of executive leadership.
Mr Gilliland said that C&C is well positioned to continue to implement its established strategy to deliver value for shareholders and Stephen will continue to be available to help facilitate a smooth handover.
C&C also said that trading across the group for the four months to 31 December 2019 has been in line with the board's expectations, including during the key Christmas trading period.
It said it and remains on track to deliver double-digit EPS growth for the full year in 2020.
C&C manufactures, markets and distributes cider, beer, wine, soft drinks and bottled water in Ireland, the UK, Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.
Its key brands include Bulmers cider, Magners, Tennennts, Five Lamps craft beer, Finches soft drinks and Tipperary Water.
Shares in the company fell by almost 3% in London trade today.
