Ryanair has announced an 8% increase in passenger numbers for the month of August.
The Ryanair airline group carried a total of 14.9 million passengers in August, up from 13.8 million the same time last year.
The number of passengers carried in August on Ryanair services alone also increased by 8% to 14.3 million from 13.3 million, while the number of passengers on the group's Lauda services rose by 20% to 0.6 million.
The airline group said its load factor - how many seats it fills on each flight - stood at 97% in August.
Ryanair faces some turbulence this month as pilots in the UK resume strike action today and tomorrow over pay and pensions.
Spanish pilots are also set to strike for five days later this month in protest at the closure of four bases there.
