The number of days lost to industrial disputes dropped in April, May and June compared to the first three months of the year, new Central Statistics Office figures show.
The CSO said an estimated 7,693 days were lost to strikes in the second quarter, compared to 27,415 in January, February and March.
Three disputes took place in the second quarter involving 10,505 workers.
There were three disputes for the same period last year involving 867 workers which resulted in 1,907 days lost.
The CSO said the human health and social working sector made up the bulk of the days lost.
But it cautioned that its figure were estimated as it did not know the exact number of people involved in the industrial rows.
