Property fund IPUT has secured planning permission from An Bord Pleanála for a 450,000 square foot office development at Two, Three and Four Wilton Park in Dublin 2.
One Wilton Park is already under construction and IPUT said today's decision clears the way for it to complete the full re-development of its estate at Wilton Park.
The Wilton Park estate is make up of the former Fitzwilton House, Wilton Park House, Gardner House
and their associated public spaces, including a one-acre park.
The company said that Wilton Park will deliver a total of 600,000 square foot of office as well as new retail and restaurant facilities.
IPUT says the development will create a new city quarter which could cater for up to 6,000 workers and which will cement Dublin as a key location for foreign direct investment.
One Wilton Park has been fully pre-let to LinkedIn and is scheduled for completion in late 2020.
Development of the remaining three inter-connecting office buildings, Two Three & Four Wilton Park, is due to begin in 2020 and is expected to be finished in 2023.
IPUT's chief executive Niall Gaffney said the company has strategically assembled the Wilton Park
estate over the past decade with a vision to create an entirely new city quarter centred around its park.
"Wilton Park and its public spaces will be carefully designed and landscaped to realise true 'placemaking' in this part of Dublin city," the CEO added.
