Ryanair has reported higher passenger numbers and steady load factors for June.

The airline said it carried a total of 13.6 million passengers last month, up 8% on the same time last year.

When it includes passengers on its Lauda service, the Ryanair group carried a total of 14.2 million passengers in June - an increase of 13% on the same time last year.

It also said its load factor - how many seats it fills on each flight - stood at 97% in June. 

Ryanair said it operated almost 78,000 scheduled flights last month.
