Windsor is creating 80 jobs as it plans to open the country's first ever "motor mall" at Exit 5 on the M50 in Dublin in September.

The new motor mall will bring multiple car brands together under one roof on a 2.87 hectare site that will also include a dedicated electric vehicle (EV) hub with up to 20 free charging points.

The facility will also include a Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) centre, an after-care workshop with 16 work bays, as well as a café for customers and 150 car parking spaces.

Extending to 46,000 square feet over two floors, Windsor's new showroom will feature 50 of the latest models from multiple car brands under one roof. A further 350 cars can be viewed outside.

The new jobs include positions for skilled technicians, retail advisors, customer care, after sales and administrative staff.

"The arrival of the Windsor MotorMall is great news for car buyers and owners. This is a whole new concept in car retail in Ireland which we have specially designed to offer the greatest convenience to customers," commented Peter Nicholson, Managing Director of Windsor.

Mr Nicholson said that Windsor had gone through a lot of changes in recent times including a full re-brand and the new motor mall is the culmination of all of those changes.
