Dogpatch Labs, the startup hub in Dublin’s Docklands, is to undergo an upgrade and expansion.
The larger space in the CHQ building will provide a further 100 hot-desking workspaces for members as demand for services grow.
The move is supported by Ulster Bank and follows a renewal of the partnership between the bank and Dogpatch to 2021.
Among the events run as part of the relationship so far are Hackathons and Fireside Events, as well as an internal incubator programme designed for Ulster Bank staff.
More than 80 companies and 400 members use Dogpatch Labs and many fast growing tech firms have used it as they move from the startup to scale phase.
The development will see a glass wall enclosure installed around Dogpatch’s Urban Garden space.
Meanwhile, €239,900 has been awarded to 14 Dublin City-based startups by the capital's Local Enterprise Office.
The funding, which will support 25 jobs, was announced at an event for the successful companies in the Local Enterprise Office for Dublin City, Wood Quay, Dublin 8.
