Waste management company Beauparc Group has today announced a deal to buy all of Associated Waste Management in the UK for an undisclosed sum.

Beauparc owns the Panda and Greenstar brands here. It handles about 2.1 million tonnes of waste across the group and has about 2,000 employees.

The company first entered the UK market in 2016 when it bought the New Earth Solutions Group and  further expanded there after the recent acquisitions of WSR in Widnes and Scotwaste in Edinburgh.

Under the terms of the deal, AWM will continue to be known and trade as AWM and services will continue as normal from the company offices and sites.

Beauparc said the AWM office will now become the UK head office for Beauparc's UK division.

Brian McCabe, Managing Director at Beauparc, said today's deal adds to the company's growth strategy in the UK and brings a level of scale and processing capabilities to Beauparc.
