A Monaghan hotel has paid a settlement of over €2.5m to Revenue, according to the latest Tax Defaulters List for the three months to the end of September.
The Westenra Arms Hotel in Monaghan town paid a total of €2,584,352 for under-declaration of PAYE, PRSI, Universal Social Charge (USC) and VAT.
Roscommon County Council and Kerry Airport featured on today's list which also included medical consultants, plasterers, food wholesalers, publicans and landlords
Roscommon Country Council paid a settlement of €456,784 for under-declaration of VAT. €101,111 of that total amount was penalties.
Meanwhile, Kerry Airport in Farranfore was fined €2,500 for the mis-use of marked mineral oil.
The Ataxia Ireland charity in Dublin 18 has yet to pay a settlement of €49,695 for under-declaration of PAYE, PRSI and USC, while Tullamore-based plasterer Patrick Joseph Abbott is facing a settlement of €1,851,477 for non-declaration of VAT.
Revenue today published 65 cases with total settlements worth €12,950,935.
25 cases were for amounts exceeding €100,000, while five exceeded €500,000 and two exceeded €1m.
