James Caan, founder and chairman of Recruitment Entrepreneur, has selected Dublin based specialist insurance and financial services recruiter 360 Search as its first investment in Ireland.
The investment is part of James Caan's growth strategy to develop post-Brexit business opportunities in Ireland.
360 Search was established in 2010 by Dubliner Lynda Barnes.
It provides an extensive range of recruitment services for organisations in both private and public sectors, including board level, executive search and advertised jobs.
The company said the deal with London-based Recruitment Entrepreneur places it at the forefront of the industry, driving the business and further expansion of their client base.
"Our aim is to scale the business both in Dublin and overseas and we've found the right partner that really supports our ambitions," commented Lynda Barnes.
"Leveraging James's extensive network and having access to the resources and support now available to us from Recruitment Entrepreneur will facilitate our strategic growth," she said.
"This investment has enabled us to launch an interim contracts service in Ireland to capitalise on the growing trend towards flexible workers," she added.
360 Search also announced today that it has secured the contract to be the exclusive recruitment partner to Brokers Ireland, the trade body for insurance brokers representing over 1,200 firms in Ireland, for the next four years.
James Caan said that he was seeing a huge amount of interest in financial services that have identified Ireland as a very exciting market prospective.
"As a business, we had identified Ireland and said if Brexit goes the way we think it is, we think the growth opportunities are going to be attractive," he said, adding that he expects the financial services sector alone will create between 10,000 to 20,000 jobs.
