BoyleSports has today opened its 250th shop in Kilcullen in Co Kildare.

The company also said it is planning to increase its retail footprint on the island of Ireland to 300 shops.

Conor Gray, CEO of BoyleSports, said that although the company is rapidly expanding its online and mobile presence it remains committed to expanding its high-street network in Ireland.

"I am delighted that we have reached the 250-shop target set by John Boyle, BoyleSports' founder and executive chairman," Mr Gray said.

"Having reached that target we still feel there is plenty of room for BoyleSports to flourish. We think 300 shops should help us meet that target," he added.
