Wilton Shopping Centre in Cork is being put up for sale with a guide price of more than €86m.
The total figure is made up of €76m for the shopping centre, and €10m for a mixed-use development site that is included in the sale.
Wilton is the city's second biggest shopping centre and its shops include Penneys, Tesco, Peter Marks, Boots and Eason. It has recorded footfall of over 5.5 million a year.
The shopping centre was constructed in 1979 and extended in 2003/2004.
Fergus O’Farrell of Savills said Wilton's combination of accessibility from across the city and suburbs, proximity to the two third level institutes and Cork University Hospital, and home to Penneys' only suburban Cork store ensure that it is a sustainably strong retail location with a diverse consumer base supporting the range of retailers within the scheme.
"In addition, the opportunity offers future development potential to create a dominant district centre in an area of proven demand, which will ultimately improve the centre and enhance investors total returns," he added.
