Permanent TSB has appointed Patrick Farrell to the new role of Retail Banking Director at the lender.
Mr Farrell joins Permanent TSB from AIB where he is Head of Retail Banking, Area South. He has previously worked in senior positions in Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank.
The position of Retail Banking Director is a newly created role for Permanent TSB and is part of recent changes to ensure the bank is structured internally to deliver on both its customer and commercial agenda.
The new position combines and expands the previously separate roles of Commercial Director and Distribution Director.
Mr Farrell will take up his new role at Permanent TSB in December.
