Permanent TSB Group said its Chief Risk Officer, Stephen Groarke, will leave the lender in the coming months.

Stephen Groarke is to take up a senior finance position in the Irish operation of an international bank. 

Mr  Groarke, who is also an executive director of Permanent TSB, will step down from the board when he leaves.

He joined Permanent TSB as Head of Group Finance in 2012 and was appointed as Chief Risk Officer in April 2016.

Before joining Permanent TSB,  Mr  Groarke also held senior positions in Bank of Ireland and Ulster Bank.
