Sunday Business Post editor Ian Kehoe has decided to leave the newspaper after four years in the job.
In a tweet, Mr Kehoe said he would remain in situ until his replacement has been appointed.
Right. First tweet. After four years as editor of The Sunday Business Post, I have decided to move on. I can’t speak highly enough of the team or the newspaper. I will remain in situ until a new editor has been appointed. It has been an absolute pleasure and a privilege.— Ian Kehoe (@ipkehoe) June 19, 2018
The newspaper has been put up for sale by its owners Key Capital and has been on the market for some time.
Key Capital, a private equity firm founded by Conor Killeen, acquired the Sunday Business Post and the printing company, Webprint, about six years ago when they were in financial difficulty.
Ian Kehoe was formerly a reporter with the paper, before moving to work with RTÉ and then returning to the Post.
