Austrian airline Laudamotion plans to start a new a direct Dublin to Vienna service this winter.
The airline will operate its new service from October with an Airbus A320 aircraft.
Laudamotion, an Austrian low-cost carrier which focuses on European city shuttle routes from Vienna, is owned by former Formula 1 racing driver Niki Lauda.
In March, Ryanair bought a 24.9% stake in the Austrian leisure airline and said it aims to increase that stake to 75% "as soon as possible".
The deal is subject to EU regulatory approval.
Laudamotion was formed out of insolvent carrier Niki, which was formerly part of Air Berlin.
