Irish-based credit card and personal loan provider Avantcard is to offer personalised pricing to Irish customers.

The company says it will offer customers rates "based on their individual financial and credit profile, along with the amount they wish to borrow in the case of a personal loan".

According to Avantcard, it will be the first lender in the Irish market to do this.

The company’s Head of Credit Risk Tadhg O’Suilleabhain said the personalised pricing structure is "designed to allow customers to access credit at the lowest suitable rate for them, based on their individual financial and credit profile.

"It rewards customers who have a better credit profile with lower rates, and opens the door to those who may find themselves declined by other lenders, to avail of credit at interest rates that are still competitive," he added.

Avantcard is headquartered in Carrick-on-Shannon, Co Leitrim and also has an office in Dublin.

The lender employs around 200 people in Ireland.
