AIB appoints new head of First Trust in NI

AIB UK Group has appointed Adrian Moynihan as head of its First Trust Bank, which operates in Northern Ireland.

Mr Moynihan has held a variety of roles with AIB in Ireland, including Group Head of Housing Strategy, Head of Wealth Management & Deposits and Head of Strategy & Planning, Branch Banking.

He holds a Masters in Management Practice, Degree in Business Studies and is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA).

First Trust, which is owned by AIB, is headquartered in Belfast and provides around £2 billion in financing to personal and business customers across Northern Ireland.

The service is provided across branches, business centres, digital & phone channels and via a partnership with the Post Office.

First Trust recently facilitated the £30m refinancing of Belfast International Airport.
