Fuel station operator Topaz is today rebranding as Circle K, with €20m set to be spent changing over its 420 forecourts across the country over the next 18 months.
The company said that while the Re.Store brand will be replaced, the existing food offering will remain.
Canada's Couche Tard acquired Topaz from businessman Denis O'Brien in 2015 in a deal worth over €400m.
The Circle K rebrand will bring the company's Irish operations in line with the global business.
A further €35m is being invested into the development of four new sites - these include two new sites in Co Kildare as well as sites in Gorey in Co Wexford and Athlone in Co Westmeath.
The investment in the new sites and the completion of recent newly developed sites at City North beside the M1 in Dublin, and Junction 14 on the M8 in Fermoy will create a total of 240 new jobs.
90 of these jobs will be full time, while 150 will be part time.
The new jobs will bring the number of full-time employees to just under 2,400.
