Credit card provider Avantcard has said it will donate five cent to St Vincent de Paul every time a customer uses its new contactless credit cards during the month of April.
The "Tap and Give" initiative will see a maximum donation of €25,000 to St Vincent de Paul.
Avantcard earlier this year announced a new strategic partnership with Mastercard, which saw the global payment giant become the sole network for Avantcard's credit cards.
Since then, Avantcard customers have been issued with new or replacement credit cards, allowing them to start using the new contactless payment functionality.
