The National Treasury Management Agency has sold €1 billion of Irish Government bonds at an auction today.
The NTMA said it sold €500m worth of four year bonds maturing in 2022 at a yield of 0.109%, while it also sold €500m worth of 10 year bonds at a yield of 1.07%.
Both of today's bond sales were oversubscribed.
With the completion of today's auction, the NTMA has issued €6.25 billion of benchmark bonds so far this year.
The agency plans to issue €14-18 billion of long-term debt this year.
