Origin Enterprises has said its chief financial officer Imelda Hurley is to step down from the board at the end of the month.

In a statement, the company said that Ms Hurley will leave the group at the end of April to pursue other business, academic and personal interests.

As a result, the agri-services company said it had started a search for a new CFO and an appointment will be made in due course.

Origin also today appointed Peter Dunne, who joined the group in 2016, as Group Finance Director. He takes up the position immediately.
