Sales, marketing and support services group DCC is to buy Countrywide Farmers' liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) distribution business in the UK.
In a statement, DCC said the deal is worth £28.75m.
The business supplies bulk and cylinder LPG to domestic, agricultural and commercial customers in the UK and its sells about 20,000 tonnes of LPG annually.
DCC said the deal is expected to be completed before the end of the company's financial year in March.
Earlier this week, the company reached a deal with Linde to buy its LPG and refrigerant gas distribution business in Germany.
That deal is also expected to close before the end of March.
