Retail Excellence has appointed JP Kennedy, Managing Director of TileStyle, to the position of Chairman of the organisation.
Mr Kennedy will hold the position for two years and the appointment follows the expiration of Colm Carroll of Carroll's Irish Gifts term.
David Fitzsimons, the CEO of Retail Excellence, said Mr Kennedy would bring a vast array of skills, experience and knowledge of the Irish retail industry to the role.
"The main focus of Retail Excellence is to provide support, advice, learning and best practice to Irish retailers the length and breadth of the country and I look forward to supporting this work," Mr Kennedy said.
