Two Irish headquartered companies have announced changes in their management lineups.

Healthcare services provider UDG Healthcare said today that it has appointed Nigel Clerkin as its chief financial officer.

Mr Clerkin will replace the current CFO Alan Ralph from next May. Mr Ralph will support the transition until his previously announced retirement next November.

Mr Clerkin most recently held the position of CFO with ConvaTec Group, a London Stock Exchange listed company, where he worked for the last three years.

Before this, he worked at Elan and started his career as an auditor with KPMG and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Meanwhile, Hostelworld has said that its chief financial officer Mari Hurley is leaving the company after ten years to pursue a new opportunity outside the group.

Ms Hurley will leave Hostelworld during the first half of 2018, at a date to be confirmed.

The company said the search for a new CFO is underway and a further announcement will be made in due course.

Hostelworld also said today it anticipates that the group's results for 2017 will be in line with its expectations.
