Property group IPUT has pre-let the entire of its 10,680 square-metre 10 Molesworth St development to AIB on a 20-year lease.
AIB is expected to move around 800 employees into the new office space, which is due for completion in the first quarter of next year.
IPUT Chief Executive Niall Gaffney said the completion "of this major letting to AIB means we have now fully pre-let all of our development projects, bringing our total lettings for the year to date 2017 to 400,000 sq ft (37,161 sq m) , generating €16m in new rent for our shareholders in 2017.
"We designed 10 Molesworth Street to reach the highest possible standards of sustainability and it will be the first newly constructed office building in Ireland to achieve platinum accreditation through the LEED rating system."
In light of the announcement, the Financial Services Union said it is seeking a comprehensive agreement on staff relocations in AIB.
FSU Senior Industrial Relations Officer, Billy Barrett said: "This is just the latest in a series of staff relocations launched by AIB. In recent months we have seen significant movement of staff between locations in Sandyford, Swords and Naas. There were serious information deficits and other issues surrounding these moves. These cannot be repeated again.
"Our union will be challenging AIB management to ensure that they have learnt the lessons of the recent past. We are also seeking a comprehensive agreement on relocations that will establish some baseline standards that the Bank will have to implement," he added.
