Sven Spollen-Behrens has been appointed the new Director of the Small Firms Association.

He takes up his new job from today.

Mr Spollen-Behrens will have responsibility for strategy and overall management of SFA, lobbying, media and business queries. 

He will also be the chief SFA spokesperson and chief government liaison. 

The SFA's mission is to deliver business-focused advice and insights to member companies, influence government policy to the benefit of small businesses and connect its members in a thriving community. 

Mr Spollen-Behrens has previously led trade associations in Berlin, Brussels and Dublin.
