The National Treasury Management Agency has today sold €500m worth of Irish Treasury Bills at an auction.
The NTMA said the Treasury Bills, which have a maturity of 12 months, were sold at a yield of -0.41%.
Total bids received amounted to €1.405 billion which was 2.81 times the amount on offer, the agency added.
Last week, the agency sold €700m of nine-year bonds at a yield of 0.72% and €300m of 28-year bonds at a yield of 1.915%.
The NTMA has now raised €8.75 billion of its planned €9-13 billion issuance of long-term debt this year.
