85 jobs have been created at Tesco’s new Swords store, which was officially opened today.
The 22,358 sq ft store – located at Airside Retail Park – includes a bakery, butcher, fish counter as well as a salad and sandwich bar.
70 of the store’s employees have been sourced from the local area, including 42 from Swords.
The development features four ancillary units to include a café, pharmacy, medical centre, and take away.
It has 229 free car parking spaces including a dedicated electric car charging point, and a click & collect service.
Tesco employs more than 13,000 people in Ireland.
