KBC Bank Ireland is running an event to help first time buyers purchase their own home.
The "Mortgage Lounge" takes place on Thursday February 16 at the Mansion House on Dublin's Dawson Street from 6pm to 8pm.
The event, now in its second year, will provide first time buyers with access to industry experts and the opportunity to be brought through the mortgage process in an accessible format.
Experts from the bank, estate agents from Sherry Fitzgerald and solicitors from McDowell Purcell will take potential home buyers through the step-by-step process of buying their first home.
Last week, the Belgian bank said it will retain its business here, adding that it was committed to "long term investment in Ireland".
The announcement followed a review by the bank of its Irish operations. KBC had considered exiting the Irish market as part of that process.
