Dalata has announced it has taken over management of the DoubleTree hotel on the Burlington Rd in Dublin from Hilton.
The hotel group will operate the business under the Clayton brand.
The hotel comprises 502 recently renovated guestrooms, meeting and events facilities including a ballroom with a capacity for 1,400 delegates, an executive lounge, and a 24-hour fitness suite.
Dalata is the country’s largest hotel operator, with a portfolio of 40 three- and four-star hotels with over 7,500 rooms.
The group operates both the Clayton and the Maldron brands here as well as in the UK.
Also this month, Dalata is rebranding the Clarion Hotels in Sligo, Limerick and Cork to Clayton Hotels – adding over 1,000 rooms to its portfolio.
