AIB has appointed Carolan Mary Lennon and Brendan Paul McDonagh as non-executive directors.
Ms Lennon is currently MD of Open Eir – Eir’s Networks and Wholesale Division, where she had also previously held a number of senior roles.
She is also a non-executive director of the Irish Management Institute and currently sits on the Council of Patrons for Special Olympics Ireland.
Mr McDonagh is a former CEO of HSBC North America, while he was also a member of the board of the NTMA.
He currently serves on the advisory board of the business school of Trinity College Dublin.
AIB Chairman Richard Pym said they “will be a great addition to an already highly committed and skilled board”.
The appointments take effect immediately.
