Housebuilder Abbey has told its AGM that trading in the last few months has been "satisfactory".

In a short statement, the company said that its business in the south of England continues to be supported by the UK government's 'help to buy' equity loan programme.

Abbey added that its projects in Delgany, Co Wicklow; Cornelscourt in Co Dublin and Ratoath in Co Meath are also progressing well.

"Overall the group remains on track for a solid result," Abbey's executive chairman Charles Gallagher stated.
