Vodafone Ireland has said it plans to recruit 60 new technology and digital specialists over the next year and a half.
The company said the new positions have been created as a result of Vodafone’s significant investment in its IT infrastructure and customer management platforms, which have seen 25 new roles filled this year.
The new senior and specialist roles will be across technology, digital, web and social media including IT Architecture, Digital Product Management, UX & Design, Demand Management, Agile Techniques, Test Automation and Innovation and Web and JavaScript Development.
Vodafone Ireland Chief Technology Officer Madalina Suceveanu said it is “a great time to join Vodafone, when the company is pioneering a gigabit society for Ireland and where the latest technologies are being leveraged to provide our customers with an excellent web and mobile experience.
The new jobs will bring Vodafone’s employee numbers in Ireland above 2,000. The company has a customer base here of around 2.3 million.
