A partnership comprising Liberty Media Chairman John Malone, as well as developers Paul Higgins and John Lally, has agreed a deal to buy three Dublin hotels from Fitzpatrick Lifestyle Hotels.
The hotels included in the deal are: The Spencer, The Morgan, and The Beacon.
The value of the deal has not been disclosed.
The partnership acquiring the hotels already owns the Westin, the Intercontinental (formerly the Four Seasons), the Trinity City Hotel, the Hilton Dublin, and the Limerick Strand – while it manages the Lalco Hotels Galway Harbour, Glenlo Abbey Hotel, and the Barnacles Hostels.
CEO of Fitzpatrick Lifestyle Hotels Paul Fitzpatrick said his group “took a strategic decision some time ago to review the next phase for these assets, and are delighted today to be handing over the keys of a great business, with a fantastic team of people to a well-established, local and proven operator”.
Capnua Corporate Finance and CBRE acted as joint advisers on the transaction.
