GAAGO, the streaming service which is a joint venture between the GAA and RTÉ, has been launched on the Roku player in the US.
The launch will make Gaelic games available to ten million households in the US which have Roku televisions or set-top boxes featuring dedicated sports channels from the likes of UFC and major league baseball.
GAAGO delivers fans access to over 120 GAA events, including the 2016 GAA Championships and The Sunday Game highlights show.
Múirne Laffan, Chief Digital Officer at RTÉ, said the broadcaster's collaboration with the GAA to deliver GAAGO has been built on creatively meeting the needs of Irish people throughout the world.
"Our growth strategy for GAAGO is focused on enhancing the fan viewing experience and developing key markets. Today's announcement leverages our distribution roadmap, expanding the visibility and availability of GAAGO to engage an even wider audience," Múirne Laffan added.
First launched two years ago, with an offering focused on the GAA All Ireland Football and Hurling Senior Champions, GAAGO has rapidly grown its worldwide audience, to stream games to customers in over 180 countries worldwide.
