Channel 4 has unveiled a record year of revenues and reported a financial surplus of £26m.
The UK-based broadcaster said revenues rose to £979m in 2015 compared with £938m a year earlier, driven by a strong advertising market. The firm said it is targeting £1 billion in 2016.
Digital turnover was up 30% to £82m following investment in the All4 platform and growth in targeted advertising.
Revenue generated by Channel 4 sales house, which includes sales for broadcasters including UKTV and BT Sport, stood at £1.17 billion.
The buoyant figures come as the UK government is considering a number of options for Channel 4, including full or partial privatisation, as it aims to deliver better value for the taxpayer.
Other options include the sale of a minority stake, the payment of a dividend and a sale of its Westminster headquarters and relocation to Birmingham or Manchester.
Channel 4 said it pumped £455m into original content, splurging £629m overall on programming, also both record amounts.
The company hailed TV shows such as Humans, No Offence and Hunted as helping to drive viewer numbers.
"Channel 4 had a record impact on audiences, with our investment in original content, our commercial revenues and, critically, the delivery of our public service remit all at their highest ever levels," commented the company's CEO David Abraham.
"We expect this impact and growth to continue in 2016 and, as a wide range of independent experts have concluded, our focus on both creative and commercial innovation has positioned us very strongly for the future," he added.
