The National Treasury Management Agency has said it will hold a bond auction on Thursday.

The NTMA said it will auction €750m of a treasury bond which will mature in 2022.

Last month, the agency sold €750m of 2026 bonds at its second auction of the year at a yield of 0.817%.

The agency said that demand for the ten year bond was more than double the supply.

The country is already fully funded for this year and since January has raised almost €5 billion out of a guided range of €6-10 billion of debt to finance the state into 2017.
